12th Annual Mount Dora Music Festival, February 19-22, 2009

The 2009 Music Festival showcases classic rock, cool country, folk music, the classics and more, featuring the Grammy-winning 60's rock and roll band, THE ASSOCIATION (Never My Love, Windy, Cherish, Along Comes Mary); Nashville's leading songwriters and singers from the legendary Bluebird Café: Billy Kirsch, Tony Haselden and Georgia Middleman; Folk singer and songwriter, Livingston Taylor and the Florida Lakes Symphony Orchestra performing Rule Brittania and a piano solo by Guy St. Clair.

A million thanks to all who attended the 2009 Mount Dora Music Festival, and a heartfelt thanks to our special volunteers and sponsors who helped make it possible.

This year we had some wonderful concerts and fun workshops and we made some new friends with our visiting guest artists… The Association, Livingston Taylor, The Bluebird Café singers and songwriters (Billy Kirsch, Georgia Middleman and Tony Haselden), Lipbone Redding and the Lipbone Orchestra. We also enjoyed visiting with our returning artists friends and those closer to home…Wes Hamrick, Suzy Park, Robin Etter, the Central Florida Youth Big Band, Florida Lakes Symphony Orchestra, the Mount Dora High School Jazz Band, and the Christian Home and Bible School Band. A big round of applause to each of you for making Mount Dora sound so good!
